Who we are
Houseprice.io is operated by Localhost Ltd. Localhost Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. Contact us at hello@houseprice.io.
What we collect and why

We don't need an account or email address to show you an estimate, and we don't save your estimate against your identity. We never put your name, email, phone or address into analytics.
Who we share data with
- One local estate agent, only if you ask for a valuation and tick the consent box. The agent becomes a separate controller of your data and their own privacy policy applies.
- Service providers who process data for us: hosting (Cloudflare), address lookup, form delivery (Web3Forms, which emails your request to us), analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (Google AdSense).
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, transfers rely on UK adequacy regulations (such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
Cookies and similar technology
Analytics and advertising cookies are only set if you agree to them. You can change your choice at any time through the "Privacy and cookie settings" link shown by our consent banner. Without consent, Google tags run in a restricted mode that doesn't set cookies.
How long we keep it
- Agent valuation requests: 12 months from the date you submit them, then deleted.
- Analytics data: 14 months.
- Address searches are not stored by us.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew it. Email hello@houseprice.io with “Data request” in the subject line and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
